Pacific Music Awards

AUCKLAND

The inaugural Pacific Music Awards were held in 2005, with the event being held annually to celebrate Pacific music and Pacific artists. The awards ceremony has quickly grown to become a significant event within the Pacific community and music industry.
 

Our role:

As Event Director we co-ordinate all aspects for the awards event and administration for the Trust.  This includes the details for the entries, judging, working with finalists, event production, sponsorship details (applications and reports), invitations, seating and ticketing, liaising with the individuals and companies the Trust works with on the awards the night.

Native Soul Lounge

AUCKLAND

Native Soul Lounge is New Zealand’s premiere live acoustic soul event, showcasing high calibre artists and the best of Aotearoa cuisine.

Not since the golden era of Prince Tui Teka, Billy T James and Dalvanius Prime have an audience been offered intimate entertainment with personal hosting. The Native Soul Lounge is a modern spin on a lost art of entertaining and hospitality.
 

Our role:

Our role as Event Director involves co-ordinating all aspects for the event. This includes corporate sponsorship, designing show, identifying the appropriate artists, relationship management, invitations, seating and ticketing, organising travel and accommodation.

Sweet Sounz Festival

TŪRANGI

Soulnote Agency worked in partnership with the local Hāpu in Tūrangi to put on the inaugural Sweet Sounz Festival. It was a one-day event with live music from Troy Kingi, Pieter T, AWA, Bella Kalolo and Boutique, along with with delicious food stalls and free activities for children. This platform worked really well and we look forward to head back to Tūrangi next year.

Māori Art Market

WELLINGTON

TOI MAORI ART MARKET showcases the best contemporary Maori art, fashion and music over three days. It provides the public a special opportunity to purchase works from New Zealand's best Maori artists.
 

Our role:

Identification of talent, arranging travel and accommdation for talent, personal hosting, handling payment and invoicing.

Sweet Sounz - Summer Series

WELLINGTON
 

In conjuction with New Zealand's best online music station Sweet Sounz Soulnote Agency brings good people together with great music in a safe and fun environment. The aim being to showcase both high profile and up and coming local talent in positive settings.

Our role:

Our role as Event Director involves co-ordinating all aspects for the event, which includes working with council, restaurants and bars to design shows for the Wellington community.


 

Urbanesia - Navigating The Future

AUCKLAND

In conjunction with the Auckland City Council. Urbanesia is a free to the community event, showcasing the Pacific's best contemporary artists including CYDEL, Gospel music award winner TJ Taotua, Fijian soul diva Erakah and RNB star Donell Lewis.
